A New Beginning. A Stronger Community.
Sri Lankan Festival – Milton Keynes 2025 (මිල්ටන් කීන්ස් අලුත් අවුරුදු උළෙල 2025)
On 20th April, the spirit of Avurudu came alive at Roade Village Hall, where families, friends, and generations gathered to celebrate the Sinhala and Tamil New Year — a time to reflect, reconnect, and renew.
Bank of Ceylon UK was proud to join this beautiful occasion, the Sri Lankan Festival – Milton Keynes 2025 (මිල්ටන් කීන්ස් අලුත් අවුරුදු උළෙල 2025), hosted by the dedicated MK Vihara Community. It was more than a festival — it was a celebration of our shared identity and heritage, far from home but close in heart.
From traditional games to cultural performances, from the joyous sounds of the raban to the warmth of Sri Lankan sweets — every moment reminded us why we value community so deeply.
As your trusted community bank, we stand beside the people who make moments like these possible. Thank you, MK Vihara Community, for bringing us all together in the true spirit of Avurudu.
Here’s to unity, culture, and the values that keep us connected — now and always.
