Buy to Let Mortgage (BTL) Loans
If you are planning to invest in a Buy to Let property in England & Wales to earn income by renting it out, we may be able to consider assisting with the finance. Loans are available for individual and corporate borrowers.
- The BTL facility is available for the purchase or refinance of residential or mixed use residential/commercial property in England or Wales for investment purposes (BTL).
- All loans must be for business purposes. Residential investment mortgages where the use is predominantly for business purposes are not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
- Repayment and Maximum Period; Interest and principal are to be repaid over a maximum period of 20 years; interest only loans are limited to a maximum period of 5 years.
- Early Settlement is allowed subject to a penalty charge.
- Facility Amount: a maximum of 70% of the purchase price or valuation whichever is lower. For new builds the loan to value must not exceed 50% of the purchase price.
Your property may be repossessed if you do not keep up repayments on your mortgage.
